Day 1: Arusha Welcome to Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania. You will be met at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, nestled under the humble peaks of Mt Meru and surrounded by lush coffee plantations. This evening a pre-departure meeting will be held where you will meet your tour guide and have the chance to ask any questions. If you arrive early take the time to explore the Arusha National Park one of Tanzania's smallest parks.
After the meeting we head into town and enjoy side street dinner at the infamous Kahn�s Barbeque, which doubles up as an auto-spares store by day and a popular and very earthy barbecue by night, with a heaping spread of grilled, skewered meat and salads. Why not try their renowned delicacy Chicken on the Bonnet.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park After breakfast, begin your journey to Tarangire National Park and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Miles of African woodland which is home to towering baobabs trees, herds of Elephants on the banks of the Tarangire River and numerous species of bird life. Keep your eyes open for a glimpse of a fringe-eared Oryx or Gerenuk during an afternoon game drive in the park. Spot migratory Wildebeest, Zebra, Buffalo, Impala, Gazelle, Hartebeest and Eland. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Tarangire�s pythons climb trees, as do its lions and leopards, lounging in the branches where the fruit of the sausage tree disguises the twitch of a tail.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Highlands Wake up early to watch the dawn lighten the bushveld on a morning game drive in Tarangire. Investigate the previous night�s wildlife activities, by tracking footprints, following bush trails and perhaps even a sighting the remains of an earlier kill. Sightings of Elephants, antelope bounding in the distance and admire graceful Giraffes as they drink from the waterholes. Continue on towards Karatu, getting ever closer to the fabled Ngorongoro Crater. You have the afternoon to explore your rich surroundings with optional activities.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands Today, head south following a dirt road to the settlement of Mangola near Lake Eyasi. Spend the day, socializing and interacting with the Hadzabe tribe and learn their unique way of life of living off the land. This is a memorable experience for all travellers. The lake is home to Tanzania� s only remaining tribe of true hunter-gathers, the Hadzabe. Some 300�400 Hadza live as hunter-gatherers, much as they have for thousands of years; they are the last functioning hunter-gatherers in Africa.

Included Activities: Full day cultural encounter with the Hadzabe Tribe of Lake Eyasi Day 5: Serengeti National Park Wake up early in the morning to enter one of the natural wonders of the world. Descend into the famed Ngorongoro volcanic crater, where one can find the highest concentration of wildlife sharing this conservation area with the legendary Masai and their cattle. This spectacular natural arena supports the densest population of lion and spotted hyena and game viewing is almost guaranteed to provide the "Big Five.
In the afternoon we will transfer to the legendary plains of the Serengeti, stopping en-route at Olduvai Gorge, a ancient valley which cuts through a chronological sequence of rock beds preserving continuous archaeological and fossil records of life on the plains for over the past two millions years. While there we can also enter the little Olduvai Museum. Continue to make your way to the Serengeti, enjoying a game drive en-route to your camp. After dinner head out on a thrilling night game drive in the evening.
