On Tanzania Safari at Lemala Mara Camp
Experienced local guides take Lemala Mara guests on a Tanzania safari to the heart of the migration action from this superb seasonal camp close to the Mara River. Located in the best game viewing area of the Northern Serengeti, this elegant tented camp is set in a grove of large Euclea trees in a remote area.
This region of Northern Tanzania is an immense wilderness, almost double the size of the Masai Mara. Lemala Mara's naturalists / guides have exceptional local knowledge, taking guests to less travelled areas for magnificent scenes and terrific off-road game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. Game walks are an optional activity.
Lemala's vehicles are specifically designed for long game drives and are equipped with comfortable seats, charging units and a large refrigerator. The camp arranges great picnic breakfasts and lunches for full day game drives on a Tanzania safari. Private vehicles can also be booked in advance on request and are subject to availability.
At the Lemala’s superb location, guests will be amongst the vast herds of migrating Wildebeest and Zebra. Two of the largest crossing points on the Mara River are nearby and occasionally guests may observe the dramatic crossings from the comfort of the camp.
