The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is a place of abundant game, big skies and shimmering heat hazes. The Seronera has large numbers of Lion, and guests often see them and other plains game passing by the camp. Game viewing is excellent in the Central Serengeti year round.

The vast fertile plains bloom with delicate wild flowers after the rains and the savannah, sprinkled with Acacia Tortilis trees, has majestic termite mounds and rock formations called Kopjes which make great vantage points for predators.

Apart from Lion, Leopard is also plentiful (although secretive) and both Black Rhino and Cheetah breed in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. There are more than 500 bird species and extremely varied animal populations right down to 100 sub-species of dung beetle. The lakes of Ndutu, in the south, are home to Hippo and water birds.

How to get there

Lemala Ewanjan Seronera Valley is situated on the western slopes of the Makoma Hills in the Central Serengeti. The camp can be accessed by road or guests can fly to the Seronera airstrip which is 30 minutes drive away. Transfers can be arranged.
